LJPO.com LJPO, LIttle John Palm OS.

Little John PalmOS (or LJP in short) is an open source multi-system emulator for Palm OS 5.0 (or newer) devices. It is currently one of the most sophisticated emulators available for the Palm platform, as it is remarkably stable, very feature filled, and can emulate a wide variety of various gaming platforms. It is free software licensed under the GPL.

Development Little John Palm is written largely by Yohann "yoyofr" Magnien, but several other individuals also greatly contributed, especially alias Tinnus, and Jeff "Skeezix" Mitchell.

During the writing of Little John Palm, code was taken from the many other open source emulators for other platforms, including Jeff Mitchell's own GuineaPig emulator, another popular multi-emulator for the Palm OS. In that respect, LJP can be considered more of a porting of existing code onto the Palm platform, as opposed to have been written from scratch. However, this is something of a generalization, for while the emulator is largely influenced by existing emulators, much effort had to be made to port it to the Palm platform. As of 2006, the current version is 1.0RC3.

LJPO: Postojna (German: Adelsberg, Italian: Postumia Grotte) is a town and a municipality in the province of Carniola, 35 kilometers (22 miles) from Trieste, in southwestern Slovenia. Population 14,581 (2002). The area is known to have been populated since the paleolithic era due to the finding of a cave settlement near the town of Postojna, called "Betalov spodmol".

Near the town is a major tourist attraction: the 20-km long cave system called Postojna Cave. The cave was first described in the 17th century by Janez Vajkard Valvasor, and a new area of the cave was discovered in 1818 by Luka Čeč. Electric lighting was added in 1872, enhancing the cave system's popularity. Approximately 9 kilometres from Postojna is Predjama Castle, set within the mouth of a cave.

Species unique to the Postojna cave system include the olm (Proteus anguinus), in Slovene literally known as the "human fish" (because of the color of its skin) and Leptodirus hochenwartii, a blind cave beetle.

city, western Slovenia, on the Pivka River northeast of Trieste (Italy). Long a local market centre, it is on the rail line and road from Trieste to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Its prime importance is as a tourist centre for its Postojna Cave, an internationally famous cave system considered to be Europe’s best example of karst phenomena—heavily and irregularly eroded limestone structures and underground streams. References to the town date from the 13th century, and it became a borough in 1432. It became a city in 1909. Postojna is a regional educational and cultural centre and has light industry.
